Israel's Teachers, and teaching of their children
Question: What does “Turn the hearts of the fathers to their children” mean in Luke 1:17?
For generations the Jewish Hierarchy had not taught the younger generation what Almighty God through initially Moses (Deut. 6:7), had told them to do; which led to wrong understanding from generation to generation!
Also the Old Testament Scriptures had been altered over Generations of Revered teachers and Rabbi’s; which had resulted in the facts of Messiah being changed, so that the teaching was, and still is; that their messiah will be of human stock, and not Divine; which is one of the main reasons the Jews rejected Jesus at Acts 28:25–28!
The situation is still the same at this present time; however; the time is approaching when Jesus will return, as shown in Prophecy; which indicates its happening is when “Jacob’s Trouble” is current (see Matt. 24 and 25)!
When that glorious event takes place (see Zech.12:10); Israel will be “Salvaged” (saved); as per. Ezek. 39:21–29! (Which will be for Almighty God’s “NAMES SAKE”)!
